Why this training?

A lot is required from managers and executives. It is of essential importance that everybody performs their tasks at the level on which one operates. However, this is only possible when every management-layer has the necessary management tools for their function. In the absence of this on one or more levels, tasks have to be delegated or will be not or insufficient performed. Eventually this will lead to ad hoc management, to inner-mindfulness, energy loss and decline. By offering a thorough and specific management learning course, space and tranquillity will be created to perform the functional tasks with confidence. The content of every learning course is determined by the development phase of the organisation, strategy and by the position of the manager within the organisation.

Programme points

Kick off
Every learning course starts with a kick off where the strategic necessity is explained. Through the modules there is a common thread like a specific, executive defined, project or the own year plans.


Strategic management
In the module strategic management one will learn to look from a more strategic perspective to their department and projects. You learn to translate strategic choices into project- of department focused success / performance indicators and matching objectives.


Financial management
In the module financial management the most important financial Key Performance Indicators will be dealt with extensively, you learn to read, interpret and explain financial outlines and figures.


Logistic management
Obstacles in the logistic process pose a threat for the profitability of the company. The obstacles can occur in multiple areas. The module Logistic management provides you tools related to the optimising of for instance the flow of the goods.


Commercial or client management
The module commercial or client management focusses on the tools that can be used to increase the sale of products or services. The objective of this module is that you can judge from strategic point of view how to increase sales and which commercial opportunities can be used for that.


Personnel management
This module gives you insight in figures concerning wage share, productivity and absence-rates and enables you to steer these proactively. Result of this is that you are aware of when there will be an optimal balance between deployment and motivation of people on one side and costs on the other side. In the module personnel management we address working with competences in the selection, progress and assessment of employees.


Managing & self-management
Eventually people are the most important asset. Only with your people you will succeed to achieve results. The basis of effective leadership is a high EQ (Emotional Intelligence). This means having self-consciousness, self-management, social awareness and relation management. Through a test we map the scores for these 4 areas. Next we work on matching skills, like core qualities and pitfalls, communication and interaction, conflict handling etc. During the training will be practiced with the ‘managing interviews’ which you have to conduct during your function. Here we use the interview structure, as it is laid down in your organisation. When interview-forms are available these are used as support. Next to the more operational side of management, extensive training will be given on coaching management.


Kick out
Concluding the training an end-presentation will be given to, for instance, the executive-board.

 

Results of the training

After this training you are capable to fulfil a wide range of management roles. You know how to fill in both the ‘hard’ and the ‘soft’ aspect of leadership. You gained knowledge through self-study, the external meetings and deepening after every meeting. Every module is concluded with a practical-focused assignment, with which you were able to directly apply the learned in the field. During the trajectory you are supported by a mentor from your organisation. The main result will be clear at the end-presentation where you show the results of the assignment, which runs through the learning course like a common thread.
